KlapKaft™ is an innovation that enables to keep a book upright, no hands involved.
It allows a book to be in the ideal position to read text or view images. Karel Bodegom designed this ingenious product, which was introduced during the 2018 design fair Meesterlijk. The design follows Bauhaus rules.
KlapKraft™ puts a book independently, on its own spine on a desk, table or counter: the book’s cover in fact becomes the supporting stand. The design guarantees stability; spreads are allowed to be fully visible, while pages can be effortlessly turned. A simple Vleugelverbinding™ (wing connection) enables the book to maintain its secure and optimal readable position.
The stand is produced in collaboration with Snijmeesters and Mizja Haak (Colorativa).
